3. Congratulations Damon & Coral
Congratulations I'd like to take a moment to congratulate Damon Edis (our Office Manager), and especially his wife Coral, on the birth of their new baby boy - Elliot, born July 25th at a whopping weight of 8 lb 8 oz.

Elliot is their second boy - his brother Orran turned 2 on August 10th.

Damon's taken the last couple of weeks off to help out at home but he should be back in the office shortly. Until then, congratulations! :)
4. 10 Best Resources For CSS
CSS So I was surfing the net the other day, on the hunt for some useful CSS resources, and I stumbled across an excellent article which lists the 10 best resources for CSS. I thought this would be a great article to share with you.

The article links to all sorts of excellent CSS resources. For example, CSS Zen Garden, which has been around for a while, features several designs all using the exact same HTML code, however, each design looks radically different by using a different CSS style sheet. Listamatic is equally impressive. The site has several styles of lists with everything from simple squared bullets to rollover lists.

For a complete list of all 10 sites you'll want to read the article. The article offers a few words of caution, though. "These sites can become very addicting if you enjoy web design in the slightest way." Hope you enjoy! ;)
5. Konfabulator Is Now Free
Konfabulator With Yahoo's recent purchase of Pixoria (the developer of the very cool Konfabulator tool), Konfabulator is now a free download.

Konfabulator is a JavaScript run-time engine for Windows and Mac OS X that lets you run mini-applications called Widgets. Widgets can be alarm clocks, calculators, can tell you your WiFi signal strength, will fetch the latest stock quotes for your preferred symbols, or even give you local weather updates.

The widgets run constantly in the background, so they can provide you with information regardless of whether your browser is open or not. Also, anyone can create their own widgets and make them available for downloading.

For myself, I downloaded quite a few. The ones I find most useful are the local weather widget and the RSS reader, and when NHL hockey is back in action I'm sure I'll make good use of the current score ticker!

If you want to get started, you can download Konfabulator here.

Once installed, you can browse through the gallery of available widgets.
6. Firefox 1.0.6 Released
Firefox Mozilla has updated their popular Firefox browser once again. According to their website the latest release is a stability update and users are recommended to upgrade to this latest version.

You can download FireFox 1.0.6 at mozilla.org.
7. Google Maps the Moon
Google In honor of the first manned moon landing, Google Maps has recently set up a new map program for the moon. The map includes locations of all the moon landings. Also, make sure you zoom all the way in so you can see how ridiculously cool the moon looks up close. Take a look! :)
