Quickly Dragging An Image Or Record To The Top Or Bottom Of A List

Chris posted this a number of years ago, but it doesn't seem to work any longer in windows 10 in Firefox (or I'm consistently doing something silly):

To quickly drag a record or image to the top or bottom of a list:

1. Start dragging
2. Press the <HOME> key on your keyboard
3. Drop

You can also use <END>, or <PAGE UP> and <PAGE DOWN> for more granularity.

Anyone have a tip?

Hi Greg,

Thanks for looking at this.

I'm using 3.13 and the latest Firefox and W10.

I was trying to use the technique with images.

Didn't try it recently with records.

I've used it previously with images though.

Hi All,

So that works because the images are listed in an iframe.  So any keyboard shortcuts that jump you to the top/bottom of a page will work.

If it's not working in the iframe you can try making sure that you've clicked on something in the iframe first so the browser knows which page to navigate.  And you can also try ctrl-home, ctrl-end or the mac equivalents.  It may be limited by the browser, though, but that's what's happening.  Just find keyboard shortcuts for navigating the page.
