Hi,

I've only just started using 3.x version and I am seeing a "Hide menu" checkbox on the edit screen of the Section Editor. Is this something that can be used to build a navigation menu?

Thanks

Terry

Hi Terry,

The Hide Menu option, when checked, won't show that Section Editor in the left navigation of CMS Builder. This can be useful when having Section Editors that are used for internal purposes and not used for entering data.

Hope that helps. If you have any other questions, let me know.

Thanks!

I some day hope for an admin-only option for section editors :)

Mizrahi, Can't you just limit access to the sections via the "Section Access" settings under User Accounts?

The issue is this needs to be done for each user, which can be time consuming when you have a lot of users.

I view this as being parallel to the ability to mark fields within a table as Admin only.

Have you tried the Bulk User Access Editor add on?

It might be the time saver for editing multiple accounts at one time.
