- Nancy has a Bachelor of Education in Adult Education and is a certified Thanatolgist
- Extensive experience working with children, youth, and adults in the area of grief and bereavement, terminal illness, and life transitions
- Work has also included teaching a large number of volunteers to work with those facing terminal illness
- Speaker at various national conferences in the area of grief and bereavement
- Facilitates grief support groups provided by Interfaith for children, youth and adults

- Works with adolescents and adults addressing mental health, self-injury and disordered eating both at ICC and at Waterloo-Oxford high school
- Provides counseling for couples, leads a pre-marriage workshop and provides faith-based counselling upon request
- Teaches a course on depression, anxiety, self-injury and introduction to counseling. She has also crisis response planning for institutions and agencies such as schools and emergency responder

- Has a love for the community, and believes that a healthy community is made up of healthy individuals and families. He finds it is a joy to walk with people during the transitions and struggles of life as they seek wholeness and wellness

- Has worked for Interfaith since 2012 as the Lead School-Based Counsellor
