Just attempted to login to the CMSB admin section on a website that's been running for about 7 months and got this error message against a white screen:

MySQL Error: Incorrect key file for table '/tmp/mysqltmp/#sql_699a_0.MYI'; try to repair it

A few minutes later I was able to log in as I'm used to.

What happened and what should my concern be?

Thanks.

Hi equinox,

I've done some research and this error is most likely caused when MySQL runs out of space in the directory it uses to temporarily store any files it creates. This error would be caused by the way your site's MySQL server is configured. If the error disappeared after a few minutes it was probably caused by some changes your hosting company were making, If the error returns I would contact them about the issue.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Cheers

Greg
