Hey There.

The code below should display a linked image.

The image does not display. When we view source,
we see the url-- but no code for the image.
No errors.

Ideas anyone? Thanks much.

<!-- templateIf : $article.product_image$ ne "" -->
<a href="http://www.link.com" target="_blank"><!-- templateCell : pageDefault.product_image.row --><img src="$file.webUrl$" width="$file.width$" align="$file.align$"><!-- /templateCell : pageDefault.product_image.row --></a>
<!-- /templateIf -->

Hi there,

I don't see the actual placeholder put anywhere?

The templatecell is not where the actual output is displayed -- it can go anywhere on the page. The output of the templatecell will go where the placeholder is. So, try this:

<!-- templateIf : $article.product_image$ ne "" -->
<a href="http://www.link.com" target="_blank">$article.product_image$</a>
<!-- /templateIf -->

<!-- templateCell : pageDefault.product_image.row --><img src="$file.webUrl$" width="$file.width$" align="$file.align$"><!-- /templateCell : pageDefault.product_image.row -->

I hope this helps. :)

Thanks Donna.

(I think) I implemented your suggestion.

Please See:
http://www.growth trac dot com/artman/publish/healthy-relationship-1284.php

The following message is now displaying:

[$article.product_image requires a templateCell called 'article.product_image.row' in 'articlePages/articlePage.html']

The code is actually in a nested templateif--
but I don't think that's the issue (?)

<!-- BEGIN product code -->
<!-- templateIf : $article.product_title$ ne "" -->
<br>
<br>
<!-- templateIf : $article.product_image$ ne "" -->
<table width="100" border="0" cellspacing="4" cellpadding="4" align="left">
<tr>
<td width="84"><a href="http://www.christianbook.com/Christian/Books/product?sku=WW746801&amp;amp;amp;event=AFF&amp;amp;amp;p=1138017" target="_blank">$article.product_image$</a></td>
</tr>
</table>
<!-- /templateIf -->
<table width="445" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" class="pageno">
<tr>
<td width="21" align="right" valign="middle" height="22"><img src="http://d1tqw2pkoqqxbc.cloudfront.net/arrow_subscribe02.gif" width="19" height="16"></td>
<td width="424" height="22"> <a href="http://www.christianbook.com/Christian/Books/product?sku=$article.cb_sku$&amp;amp;amp;event=AFF&amp;amp;amp;p=1138017" target="_blank">Get the
$article.author_name$ book, $article.product_title$</a></td>
</tr>
</table>
<!-- /templateIf -->
<!-- templateCell : pageDefault.product_image.row --><img src="$file.webUrl$" width="$file.width$" align="$file.align$"><!-- /templateCell : pageDefault.product_image.row -->
<!-- END product code -->

Progress?
Jim

Oops, sorry about that, missed the names of your templatecells -- they should be article.product_image.row, not pageDefault.product_image.row.

I hope this helps. :)
