Hello,

After creating an article I hit the 'preview' button and I get the following:Error: Unable to create temp file '/home/username/www/publish//temp_1231222021000.shtml' at /home/username/public_html/cgi-bin/modules//IT/SSIResolver.pm line 171.

I'm assuming that it's because /publish needs 777, and it worked before, but I must have changed something. When I chmod it to 777 the site doesn't work and I get an error in the logs that:
Directory "/home/username/public_html" is writeable by group or '...by others'.

Is there some other way to configure this? Or am I missing something?

Thanks in advance

Hi there,

Doublecheck your server paths -- without seeing your server, I can't be sure, but it looks like you have a different path set. Article Manager is trying to write to:

/home/username/www/publish/

...but it looks like it should be:

/home/username/public_html/publish/

It'll be the "publish" directory that needs writable permissions, not the public_html.

Let me know if that fixes it... otherwise, you might want to fill in a support request so we can see your paths directly. :)
