Hi,

I want to create a book catalog. hope it look like
http://www.kwbs.org.tw/95web/modules/myiframe/index.php?iframeid=1

When user click the book(Top level). they can see the book article list(secand level).
When click the article list. They can get full content(thired level).

For the articles. It is easy for multi-record on cmsAdmin.

But It seems can not create the book catalog & the article.
I try to use cmsAdmin Multi-level Category Functions.

A little bit confuse with the feature.

Is there any simple way to build the book category?

Thanks!!

Hi jacgo,

A simpler way to do this would be to create a section for your articles and a section for your books. Then when you create articles link them to the appropriate book using a linked pull down menu.

This knowledge base article should help you:

http://www.interactivetools.com/kb/article.php?Populate-a-list-field-from-another-section-15

So you would need to create a field for the article section that stored the num field for the related book. Then you can easily find all of the related books for each article.

Hi, greg

It's great. I just add a "Year" dropdown menau item from other Multi Record section for my book article.

In my book article multi record.
before "Create". There are only have 3 items on the list.
"Drag - Title - Action"
Can I add a "Year" item on the list?

Thank you a lot for your solution!
It's Nice & simple.
