Hi,

I did a little research. What we could do would be to customize the save and copy plugin javascript to set a value for the drag sort order in the edit form, relative to the original.

I would take a bit of work and a lot of testing, but shouldn't be too difficult.

Let me know if you'd like us to look further into this.
