Hi,

Yes, you can easily set up a blog using CMS Builder:

- When you click on "Section Editors" and create a new section, there is an option for "Blog" in the pre-sets drop down. This will give you the basic fields you need for a blog. As always, these fields are completely customizable.

- You can then use the code generator to output the basic code you'll need to display your blog.

- If you want to do categories, you can set up a separate section and then link to that section inside your blog section. Here is an article that discusses doing this: http://www.interactivetools.com/knowledge_base/article.php?Populate-a-list-field-from-another-section-15

- There are a couple of different options for comments. To store comments directly in CMS Builder would require custom coding. We have a comments plugin in development, but don't yet have a release date for it. Another option would be to use a 3rd Party comments script like Facebook.

- Here's a link to our online documentation on create an RSS feed using CMS Builder: http://www.interactivetools.com/docs/cmsbuilder/rss_feeds.html

Hope this helps get you started. Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Disqus is also a nice comment system. I just recently used this on a CMS Builder site.

Yes, I too implemented Disqus on a blog I recently set up for an animal sanctuary. It was very easy to set up and seems to work very well. It will do until the comments add-on gets here.

Hi CMSB team...
Any progress updates or an ETA for a comments plugin?
I'm building a site that would definitely benefit from that!
Thanks,
- Dan

Hi Dan,

We have a basic comments plugin in the last stages of development that is scheduled for release later this week.

When it is available, we will post an update in the forum and also the newsletter.

Stay tuned. Thanks!
Cheers,
