Force Save File As for Upload

I have some uploads that you need to have a program installed in order to see it.
They are called Bim Files which the extension is .rfa and IES files which are .ies.
In the CMS, when you click on these files, they open in Internet Explorer as gibberish. I want these files to force you to download and save them, not open in IE.
How do I accomplish that?

You might to try doing this your htaccess file. Check out this link for more info:
