Search Engine for Category Menu

Hello. I've set up my entire web site using a Category Menu structure. The list and detail viewers point to the same page (main.php). Is there a way for me to set up a simple search engine? I've tried the solutions offered on http://www.interactivetools.com/docs/cmsbuilder/viewer_search.html but they do not seem to work.

One of the easiest and best ways to add search capabilities to your site is to use [url http://www.google.com/sitesearch/]Google Site Search[/url].
