Hi Jason,

If I understand your question correctly, the solution should be pretty straight forward.

If you're logged in as administrator, it should be as simple as going to the section editor, clicking on the modify link next to the field in question, clicking to display the advanced options, un-checking the unwanted restrictions, and then saving your changes.

Thanks for the responds. The field is now be designated as a system control field , That is the problem. It will not let me modify it. The field is Grayed out so I can't access it to change the setting anymore.

Hi Jason,

You can Enable System Field Editing under the Advanced Commands drop down on the section editor page. Please see the attached image.
