Hi everyone,

We have just released v1.26 of CMS Builder with some bug fixes.

- Fixed issue where Cyrillic character sets such as Russian weren't saving correctly
- Fixed upgrade error: MySQL Error: Table 'database.cms__accounts' doesn't exist

CMS Builder users can upgrade by donation at this page (you can enter 0 if you've donated recently, we don't expect you to pay for bug fixes): http://www.interactivetools.com/upgrade/

IMPORTANT: For any users that encountered an error upgrading to 1.25, this version fixes that issue.

Please let us know if you have any questions.
Cheers,

Dave,

I am experiencing this same issue on a new client installation. I thought I had it solved previously with assistance in a different post, but it appears I have not. Those pesky MSWord tags just keep reappearing! The only way to make them go away is to manually edit the database. [crazy]

When entering text, the following code is invisibly inserted into the field, just before the first character of paragraph content:

<p><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
<meta name="ProgId" content="Word.Document" />
<meta name="Generator" content="Microsoft Word 9" />
<meta name="Originator" content="Microsoft Word 9" />
<!--[if gte mso 9]><xml> Normal 0 </xml><![endif]-->
<style><!----></style>

I upgraded to v1.26, which included the tinyMCE version3, but this did not solve the problem. I'm nearly ready to turn the finished project over to my client to manage and I'm not sure how to handle this coding issue.

Thanks in advance for any further help.

Hi Deborah,

We have an even newer version of tinymce3 in this post which will be in the next release: http://www.interactivetools.com/forum/gforum.cgi?post=69416#69416

Do you want to try that version and let me know if it does a better job of filtering out the msword characters?

Dave, I've installed the newer version 3 and my initial tests show it to be working. No more MSWord oddities! Hurray!

Thanks for the fix.

If I have purchased CMSB after the 2nd of Feb how come it shows that I have version 1.23 installed and not 1.26?
