When I use Firefox, a separate "Paste from Word" dialog box pops up when I attempt to paste content into a WYSYWYG editor field. I went ahead and used the secondary dialog box, but after publishing, all of my entries have been appended with the following, appearing after opening <p> tag:

<meta content="text/html; charset=utf-8" http-equiv="Content-Type" />
<meta name="ProgId" content="Word.Document" />
<meta name="Generator" content="Microsoft Word 9" />
<meta name="Originator" content="Microsoft Word 9" />
<link rel="File-List" href="file:///C:/DOCUME%7E1/ADMINI%7E1/LOCALS%7E1/Temp/msoclip1/01/clip_filelist.xml" />
<style><!--

--></style>

I'm using Firefox 3.01 and CMS Builder 1.23. I don't think I have any Firefox plugins that could be causing this, but I'm not sure. The dialog box does not appear in Internet Explorer and the WYSYWYG fields are generated correctly using IE.

The "remove formatting" tool does not eliminate the added content from the records I've entered.

Any suggestions, anyone?

Hi Deborah,

That's strange. Are you able to re-create that issue every time? Meaning, if you paste from word into the "Paste from Word" dialog and then click the "HTML" button it shows the Word meta tags? Or is it only when you save?

Which version of Word do you have? What we could try doing is upgrading the tinymce wysiwyg editor. A newer version might fix the problem.

Can you see if you can reproduce it with this demo?

Let me know what happens.
