I want to use CMS Builder instead of Listings Manager due to the fact that CMSB is in php and LM is in cgi. I am getting some cpu overusages with the cgi and I hope that php will not cause this problem.

Can I move my present listings from LM to CMSB or do i have to manually input this information? (I have close to 1000 listings to move).

Hi Wevolutions,

Yes, you'd need to manually re-enter the data. We don't have an LM import script for CMS yet.

Other options would be:

- To manually extract the flat file listings database into excel, then into CSV, then into MySQL. This requires a bit of skill and doesn't re-load the images but will get the content. You'd have to re-upload the images.

- Have us (or someone else) write an import script for you as a custom programming job (contact me at dave@interactivetools.com if you want to discuss that).

- Hire some cheap outsourced labour to do the data entry for you (such as http://www.xceeditsolutions.com/)

Hope that helps!

Yes, it has the same functionality. Many people use CMS Builder for Realty and Listings sites.

And yes it will have less load on the server than LM because it uses MySQL.

Hope that helps, let me know if you need anything else.
