Hi all,

Just needing some quick feedback to understand how easy/difficult it might be to add a database & shopping cart to CMSB? I am not a programmer so both are somewhat intimidating at this point. However, CMSB appears to be a good solution to meet my client's needs.

I am in the eval stage for this product so any feedback is helpful. Please share challenges/successes.

Thanks,

Steve

Hi Steve,

Each record in CMS Builder has a unique number, and you can define whatever field you need. So typically what you'd do is pass those fields (record number, price, etc) to the shopping cart program.

The only thing you couldn't do without some custom PHP would be to have an "quantity in stock" value and decrease that after someone ordered.

Hope that helps! Let me know if I can provide any more details or answer any other questions!
