Re: disable/remove redirect to the last page

In response to: disable/remove redirect to the last page, ...

When a member logins in they are redirected to the last URL they where on.

Is it possible to forward the user who is logging in to the page link they clicked on that triggered the need to login?

For example, I have a site page that requires a member to be logged in to view. If a member is not logged in and they click on a menu in the navigation to go to that page, they are routed to the login page. Once they login, I'd like to for the member to continue on to the site page they where trying to visit - instead of being redirected back to the page they were leaving.

Thanks, Zick

Hi Zick,

Could you elaborate on how the user is directed to the login page when they attempt to view the login-restricted page? E.g. are they being redirected with PHP, or does the menu link change depending on if the user is logged in, etc?

Thanks,
