Permalinks and pagination

Hi,

I'm using the permalinks plugin and loving it up...

I've added a page with prev and next links and the links generated are not all that pretty (ex ?page=2).

Is there a way make the pagination links seo friendly?

Could you let me know what you'd be looking for in a more friendly link?  Maybe something like searchResults.php/page/2?
