No records were found!

Hi there-

I'm running a new install, and I made a few dummy articles and then generated the php viewer code and I keep getting "No records were found!"

I tried it first in my template, then again just with the plain code shown in the viewer code box.

Still can't get it to find the records.

I even tried a couple of different categories for articles... Nothing.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Hi Jeff,

Welcome to the CMS Builder forum!

Do you have any of the following fields in your editor?

publishDate - must be set to date in the past to display
removeDate - must be set to a date in the future (or have neverRemove checked)
hidden - must be unchecked

None of those fields are required, so if you don't need them you can remove them in the field editor. If those aren't the problem let me know and we can keep looking.

Hope that helps!

Hi Dave-

Thanks - I checked those and re-checked - no dice.

Not sure what's up...

Nothing is showing in any categories.

Any ideas?

Ya know... It really helps when the file suffix is correct.

=^)

Thanks for the help, Dave! I knew I was overlooking something simple. Made me feel pretty silly, but a simple change of the suffix to php made the difference (imagine that).

Thanks again!
