Issue with SpamBotEmailProtector plugin and Chrome

We've had reports of linked email addresses, so email addresses with the mailto: hyperlink, not working in some instances on Google Chrome with the SpamBotEmailProtector plugin installed.

The browser opens a blank window with 'about:blank#blocked' in the URL.

Do you know what could be causing this?
