For those wanting to add spell check

By Moonworks - July 9, 2009 - edited: July 9, 2009

Hi all,

I'm always asking for help on here, so I thought I should give something back.

Here is the simple way to add spell check to your wysiwyg:

Download the file from http://downloads.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/tinymce/tinymce_spellchecker_php_2_0_2.zip?use_mirror=kent

Unpack it and add that to the plugins folder of your tinymce3 folder.

Then use replace the file I've attached, and replace your wysiwyg.php file in the lib folder. Make sure you make a backup, just in case of any problems.

This is probably obvious to many of you, but here it is for those who want it [cool]

This wysiwyg.php file also has the fully justified text button added to it.

Thanks again for this.

I've added this patch to the latest v1.34 beta build. So once that's released everyone won't have to keep updating the wysiwyg after each upgrade.

Note that the default spellcheck requires either the php curl or openssl extensions to be installed.
