Can the watermark plugin be modified to insert a watermark on previous uploaded images?

Can the watermark plugin be modified to work on previously uploaded images? (like the stand-alone webp plugin - before it was incorporated into standard cmsb versions)

Yea, absolutely, but it would take some custom coding. If you found a good free offline watermarking tool you could also download all the images, watermark them, and then re-upload them.
