A few newbie questions

By cristian - November 1, 2009

Hi guys,

I was thinking of getting CMS Builder to convert a static site. But I have a couple of questions I haven't seen addressed here.

Will CMS Builder allow me to configure my pages so that my readers can add comments at the end of my articles?

Is there any type of forum that can be added, like maybe phpbb or something similar? Or would I just add phpbb via the control panel as usual?

Is any sort of blog module available?

Thanks for any assistance,

Cris

Hi Cris

Thanks for posting!

I'll go over your questions one at a time :).

1. There is an addon for comments that we can customize for you so there are definitely options on this one.

2. You can have a forum running on the same site as CMS Builder so that's not a problem. It would be administered separately though. The CMS Builder interface is setup for its own pages.

3. A blog is definitely do able. Do you have an example of how you would like it to look? Blogs are another area where we could add in comments for you as wel.

If you wanted to send me an email through consulting@interactivetools.com we can start going over the options you have for comments.

Thanks!
