Article Manager comes with 3 template sets, these are named Maple, Arctic, and Dusk. By default Article Manager uses the Maple template set, but you can easily configure it to use any of the other two.
The first thing to do is to decide which of the 3 template sets you want to use. Screenshots of all 3 are provided below.
 |
Maple Template: This is the default template set that Article Manager comes with. |
 |
Arctic Template: The Arctic template set is perfect for news and technology sites. |
 |
Dusk Template: The Dusk template set is perfect for hobby sites, music news, entertainment sites, etc. |
Once you've decided which template set you want to use, changing template sets from one set to another is easy. Here's what to do:
1. Unzip the template set you want to use (be sure to maintain the directory structure) and copy its files and folders into your
/artman/templates/ directory, overwriting your existing templates. (As always,
make a backup before making any changes.) Once this is done read the
instructions in the readme.txt file that is provided with each template
set.
2. Once you've followed the instructions in the readme.txt file be sure to
republish all of your articles so they can adopt the new look and feel
of your new template set. You can do this by going to Setup Options
--> General tab --> and click the Publish All button.
And that's all there is to it.
