2. CMS Builder: Version 2.05
New Plugin: Website Favorites

Our programmers are hard at work! Along with updates like the latest version of TinyMCE and a few improvements to the plugin system, we've added some great new features, like a "View" menu option. This allows you to look at the content of any post, without the ability to edit it -- this is a great option if you need to print the contents of each field (without the WYSIWYG editor and other editing options getting in the way) or for users who need access to look at content, but shouldn't be able to change anything.

NEW FEATURES

  • Added new "View" menu option to record lists (enabled under Admin > Section Editors)
  • Added new "View" menu option to Related Records lists (enabled in Field Editor)
  • Field Editor: List fields may now have a Default Value
  • Category Sections: Added new setting: Section Editor > Advanced > Max level of depth for categories

MINOR CHANGES

  • Plugin System: Added new filter edit_buttonsRight to add or modify buttons on edit page
  • Plugin System: Added new filter view_buttonsRight to add or modify buttons on view page
  • Plugin System: Added new filters: home_title, home_content for post-login homepage
  • Plugin System: Added new filters: listHeader_thAttributes, viewer_output_rows
  • Plugins: Added Norwegian characters to "Remove Viewer Link Accents" plugin
  • Viewers: Added _hasSiblings to getCategories() viewer function output
  • Code: Upgraded tinyMCE to version 3.3.7 (Released 2010-06-10)
  • Code: Added internal function saveUploadFromFilepath() for importing local files
  • Code: Improved DOCUMENT_ROOT auto-detection code
  • Code: Wysiwyg now automatically generates new cache file when tiny_mce.js changes

BUG FIXES

  • Compatibility: Added workaround for hosts with safe-mode set incorrectly (PHP Bug #23663)
  • Wysiwyg Spellchecker: Fixed error "Please specify: spellchecker_rpc_url"
  • Editors: Pressing Save after a login session has timed out now redirects to the login page

3. New Plugin: CreatePDF 1.00!
Another New Plugin: Website Saved Searches

With CreatePDF, CMS Builder can create PDF's on the fly. With the easy-to-use developer functions, you can automate PDF generation from web pages, html code and even remote urls. By creating a regular HTML page with a single line of cut-and-paste code to the top, you can have your page display as a PDF instead.

Providing your content in PDFs is great for:

  • Printer-friendly "info" sheets for your visitors
  • Making it easy for a user to download and save your page to their computer for reference
  • Creating PDF invoices and reports, or emailing content as PDF files
  • And much more...

You can display PDFs 2 different ways:

  • Inline: displayed in the browser window
  • Attachment: send as a download to the browser to be locally saved

Purchase the CreatePDF add-on in our add-on store anytime. As soon as your purchase is complete, you can download the add-on immediately and start creating PDF's!

4. Updated Plugin: AutoBackup 1.02 (Important Update)
Updated Plugin: Website Membership

We've just released Auto Backup v1.02 with the following changes:

  • Fixed incorrect version number from 1.01 (still reported version as 1.00)
