     Top secret product!!!

I read with interest in your Career Opportunities section the following paragraph: "Next, you'll be leading development on a new top-secret content management suite that is going to rock the industry. You'll find simple, straight-forward solutions for even the most difficult technical challenges, work smoothly with other team members to bring everything together, and be able ship this new product in 6 months."

Obviously I don't expect you to shed much light on this but is there anything you CAN say? This sound really, really exciting.

I presume when it says in 6 months time, this will be in about 8 months from when the position is filled right?
Regards,
Michael Wilkinson

There's no way I'm going to give out top secret information to someone with the screen name "theinformer". That doesn't sound like someone who can keep a secret! Wink

We've mentioned this project before, but "top secret" includes development schedules. Although we expect the project to take six months, I'm not saying when I expect them to start.

Hey Donna... you say that like it's a bad thing. Shocked

I would have figured that IT would have loved all of the free publicity...

but if you don't want anyone telling the world how great you guys are, I guess you know best.Tongue

HI Pete,

Free publicity ... I wonder what Janet Jackson thinks of free publicity now. Food for thought. Smile

Well, I think I can say without a shadow of a doubt to the press that the top secret product is indeed "Top Secret"!

Other than that I can't tell anyone anything. My lips are sealed.Shocked

I noticed earlier in this thread that Theo said that "we've mentioned this product before"..... it wouldn't be the idea of splitting Article Manager would it?

If it's not, I'd love to hear suggestions from forum users about what this could be.....

At least Janet Jackson REVEALED her secrets.... Wink

Hi there :)

Nope, this has nothing to do with Article Manager vs. Article Manager Pro. That's definitely still in the "theoretical" phase, and doesn't have anything close to a development schedule. :)

Besides, if it were that, we'd just tell you! ;)

We'll be looking for alpha/beta testers and reviewers before we launch, and we definitely want to get everyone's feedback.

BUT! We're going to finish SQL for Article Manager first, before we even think about this new project, since we know how badly everybody wants SQL. This new project is scheduled for after that. : )
