     Damon's Office + 2500 post-it notes

From time to time people ask us to post photos of our offices. We haven't got around to that yet, but I do have so closeups of Damon's office for you to enjoy.

Damon has been playing tricks on me for a few days now. So I came in on Saturday and did some "re-decorating" in his office. He didn't see it until Monday morning (today) when he came in and opened his door!

He was pretty stunned, but he was a great sport about it and thought it was pretty funny. I added another couple of pictures and more details to the page so you can have another look.

I'll a little nervous about what he might do to get me back! :)

3M's financial security is safe, as long as IT's in business! Cool

P.S. Love the fun wall colors. No wonder you guys are such a cheerful group of techies!

Actually, it's funny you should mention, I just heard back from 3M today (I thought Damon would appreciate me sending them pictures!) and they're going to send us a few cases of post-it notes "for all our future decorating needs"! :)

So we won't be running out anytime soon! Damon was actually pretty concerned when I told him, he doesn't want me to do anything else to his office before he gets a chance to return the favor. : )

Now that's what I'd call good customer service...your magic must've rubbed off on the big boys @ 3M. Their gift is the perfect postscript.

Keep us, er, posted on the retribution meted out by Damon, will you? :o)

Pretty funny old post. I was looking for a recent photo of your new office from the street since you moved? I was curious about something. Where did i see that?

was there any specific revenge btw?

edit: ok, found it. it was in the newsletter.

That was a long time ago, but yes, they got me back... At that time our office had a large kitchen separate from the work area, and one day I came in and my desk was missing from my office. There was just an imprint on the floor where it had been.

No one said a word and I searched all around the office until I found it had been moved into the kitchen with everything exactly where I'd left it on the desk, network working, everything!

I even tried it for a few days before I moved it back! Mainly because moving your desk from our side of the office to the other is a lot of work. :)
