Hi all,
I have just implemented the automatic signup script but it doesnt do exactly what I thought it would .
It is very nearly there short of notifying admin that a new user has registered and may have listings to authorise, is there any way to get the program to email when a new account has been created. If this can be expanded to automatically email the new user their account details also by adding an email address to the signup form that would then be perfect.
Any help on this would be appreciated.

Hi,
Thanks for the post!
While you can feel free to tweak this script your self, it is an unsupported add-on so it's not really something we'd be able to tweak for you. You should be able to get in touch with a programmer who can look into this for you and modify the script to do what you were looking for.

Hi Mike,
Thanks for that, going through the forum I came across another script which was posted quite some time ago which seemed to fit the bill perfectly however the link to the script appears to be dead and the author (dedbob) hasnt logged in since Sept last year, looking at the posts it would appear that cliff@interactive had a look at the script, (does cliff still work with you? if so perhaps you could pass the queery on to him) perhaps you still have it available in the vaults somewhere, I have tried to pm dedbob but so far havent heard anything back, I thought I had left a post in the thread yesterday but it doesnt seem to be there so I will try that again, in the meantime if you or anyone else can point me in the direction of that script it would be appreciated.

We don't have a copy of this add-on ourselves, but by the looks of the other thread you were able to get a copy of the add-on.
