Configure Sign-up Addon

I recently installed the signup add-on but was disappointed with its lack of configuration features. My aim is to have a list of health practitioners. The list would be searchable by location, name, etc. Some of the practitioners may have courses or books they will want to promote on the site. I had thought to have each practitioner sign-up as a user. They would create their own homepage. Then I would use the Search Homepage add-on to assist the website’s visitors in finding a practitioner in their area. I would then create two other search pages, one for Books, and another for Courses. My issue is in the process of signing up. There are too many steps. I would like to automate the process to have the practitioner who is signing up provide some of the homepage information as well. That way, the administrator can confirm, either on the phone or through a website, that the person signing up is a legitimate company. It would also be great if the Administrator could receive an automatic email when there is a new signup. I can’t seem to get the script written by Scott Edwards to work. It seems to function (doesn’t give any errors), but doesn’t add the user into Listmanager. I would be grateful for any assistance. Thank you!

Hi, Thanks for the post! The Signup Script that you are refering to is actually a free add-on that Scott has developed, because this is a free add-on script it's a little hard to offer support for it. I have noticed that you also posted a message here: http://www.interactivetools.com/forum/gforum.cgi?post=49165#49165 thaat thread is the best spot to post for help regarding this add-on. Hopefully Scott or someone who has used his add-on script will be able to see your post and help guide towards getting this working correctly. :) In the meantime if you have any other queestions please don't hesitate to ask!
