newbie quirks with modifying templates, help please Can't Post

Hi folks,
new-guy here...I'm currently working to modify the six templates listed for customizing the look & feel of the application:

_publish_homepage.html
_publish_homepage_index.html
_publish_listing.html
_publish_listing_index.html
_search_query.html
_search_results.html

Basically I incorporated the templates code into a blank shell of the website's layout. After updating the files on the site, I only see my changes on the search & search results pages. the original layout still appears on the 'homepage' and all other pages. What am I missing?

Here is the working page:
http://www.wilson-shaffer-realtors.com/listman/listings/

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Hi,

Thanks for posting and welcome to the forum! Smile

It sounds to me like the only thing you'll need to do is log into Listings Manager, click "Setup Options" and then click the four "Publish" buttons.

Listings Manager publishes static HTML pages onto the server and when you update your templates you'll want to tell Listings Manager to re-publish all of the HTML pages. That's what the "Publish" buttons do and once you click those, you should see your results. The search pages are dynamically created so that's why you're already seeing your design on those pages.

I hope this helps! Smile
