Can you give me some information on how i can convert my listings manager to php? I am using the search.cgi script but I keep getting "internal server errors" and it is reflecting badly on my website when this is shown on the front page. Please help. I need another solution urgently. Thank you.

Hi there, It's not really possible to convert a complicated software product like Listings Manager from one language to another. It's sort of like translating a book -- you basically have to rewrite it, and since years of development has gone into Listings Manager... well, that's not something you can do overnight. However, let's look further into the issues you're having with getting internal server errors, as that shouldn't be happening. Approximately how many listings do you have in Listings Manager? Donna

I have close to 1000 Listings and I have about 2000 visitors per day with about 4000+ page loads. My hosting provider says that the search.cgi script is causing the server to overload so they have to keep disabling it. I was looking at CMS Builder and I was wondering if this product can do the same as I have done with Listings Manager. If the answer is YES, then I am ready to migrate all my listings over to it to resolve my server issues.

Hi WEVOLUTIONS, Fortunately, the answer is yes, CMS Builder can perform all of the same functions as Listings Manager - and then some. Listings and homepages can be created in the same way, and your searches can also be set up the same way. Let us know if you have any other questions. ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Jake Swanson - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com
