change main directory structure	Can't Post

I would like to not use the directory /listman/ in my url and server setup. However, when I go to change this in my Server tab, the 'program dir' variable is hardcoded. If I change the name of the folder on my server then I can't do anythign in the admin.
Where do I make this change?

I'd like my url to be www.mysite.com/showroom/whatever_else
