Two Listings Managers on One domain

Can I have two listings managers running at the same time using one domain name but in separate folders so that it is easier for me to manage? example: www.domainname.com/listman1 www.domainname.com/listman2 Both will be running on the same server and I can create a separate folder in the cgi-bin for the other manager. I will want separate users for each one and they must work independently of each other.

Hi WEVOLUTIONS, You're on the right track - the only thing you need to do to make sure two installations of Listings Manager don't conflict is to keep them in separate directories, and to make sure that they publish their listing files to separate directories. Feel free to contact us if you have any more questions about this! ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Jake Swanson - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com

How do I go about doing this? Do I do a new install of the Listings Manager using the other folder? And will I need another License to do this? Will the new install interfere with the older Listings Manager and its data?

Hi, Thanks for the post! Each license of Listings Manager is good for one installation at a time, so you would want to purchase an additional license of the software. From there, you can install the second license into it's own directory on the server. The two installations won't interact or interfere with each other and you should then be able to have these two installations as separate sections of your website. I hope this helps!
