Have a problem with realty manager latest version Can upload a picture for index for lets say picture one how do I get the thumbnail to show the full size picture What happens at the present time is if I upload a series of thumbnails they all create the relevant html pages but of course these html pages still only display the thumbnail, how do I get it to display a full size picture when you click on a thumbnail There does not seem to be a way of uploading the full size picture and getting it to link to the thumbnails Thanks for your help

Hi Mel, Realty Manager is setup so agents/users only have to upload one image (the full size image). If the images that you upload are full size images, the program will display a thumbnail size version of that image on the listings index and detail pages that links to that full size image when clicked. I hope that helps. Cheers Damon Edis interactivetools.com

Hi Damon, Thanks for your reply I must be doing something wrong as I tried just uploading large images but the image on the listings is displayed as a large image and not a thumbnail I am testing this on my own pc with apache etc installed on it...could this be anything to do with it? Myself I do not think this would make any difference as all the other parts of the scripts seem to be working fine Mel

If you have modified the listings templates, check to see that width=150 is in the image source tag. If that doesn't help, send me a email with a link to your listings page. Cheers Damon Edis interactivetools.com

HiDamon, Yes that has partially solved the problem What it is doing now is if the image is lets 165 wide by 180 high it is resizing it down to 150x180(H) Should I also set the to 150 or 160

Hi again, Only set the image width (don't include an image height) so that the proportions of the image aren't altered. Cheers Damon Edis interactivetools.com

Does RM/AM 2.29 require anything special on the server to thumbnail the images? I thought I'd read earlier that it needed Imagemagick...?

Hi Bill! Thanks for your post. :) Yes, the thumbnailing feature requires any version of ImageMagick or GD Perl Module (GD.pm 1.26 and higher). Let me know if you have any other questions. :) Cheers! Donna Donna

Hmmm... can it be configured to be used with another image manager, like ASPImage? My web host provider won't unstall ImageMagick because it is an .EXE, and for safety's sake they only install components that use a .DLL

Hi Bill, Sorry, but no -- it needs to have ImageMagick or GD. Thanks :) Donna Donna
