Sorting Fields By Types Can't Post

This is for Realty Manager. We market Residential and Commercial Rental property with this tool. Is there a way when a commercial property is added to the system that only the fields for Commercial Property will appear on the screen when displayed. For example if you are looking to rent a Store Front Property fields such as Bedrooms, Decks, Wash Dryer Hook Ups probably are not important. Fields that would be important would be: square feet, desk space, offices, items such as that. Someone thought you might have developed a script for this already. Thanks

Hi rentittoday,

This isn't a feature that's available in Realty Manager, however we have implemented this field concept in CMS Builder so for future projects you may want to keep that in mind if this type of field setup is a requirement.

Let us know if you have any other questions. Smile

G'day,

Have a look at this tutorial:

http://www.interactivetools.com/products/realtymanager/tutorials/rentals.html
This takes you though the basics of setting up an additional template for rental properties on a typical "For Sale" site.
Reading your post is seems to me you could use this to to have 2 types of rentals. Commercial & Residential, each with their own fields as required.

Cheers Croydon
