Search more than one listing field?

Hi, there. Is it possible to set up Listing Manager's search function so that it will search more than one listing database field? I know that it's possible to do it by asking people to type keywords into more than one form field, but I'm trying to do it so people can type in keywords that reference more than one database field using only one search field. Here's the site I'm using it on: www.newhamburg.ca. Nigel Gordijk Common Sense Design: User-focused Web design Tel: 001 519 342 5348 | Web: www.commonsensedesign.net

Hi Nigel, Thanks for your post! Searching across multiple fields isn't supported in Listings Manager - the only way to do it is on a field by field basis, of which you're already aware. You might want to consider CMS Builder for future projects like this though, as it supports both individual field searches as well as searches across multiple fields. Don't hesitate to contact us. ----------------------------------------------------------- Cheers, Jake Swanson - Product Specialist support@interactivetools.com

Hi, Jake. Pretty much what I suspected :-( I didn't realise that CMS Builder - which I've used successfully on other sites - had a search feature? Nigel Gordijk Common Sense Design: User-focused Web design Tel: 001 519 342 5348 | Web: www.commonsensedesign.net

Hi Nigel, Yes, you can set up a search form with CMS Builder and you can see an example of how to do this here: http://www.interactivetools.com/forum/gforum.cgi?post=62056#62056 Let me know if you have any other questions or comments!
