Restrict properties included in listing_index?

Is there a good way to restrict the listing_index based on a certain field? My client only wants to show their own company's listings in the index, but they want to include broker reciprocity listings in the searches. Right now I'm doing this a kludgy way (mucking with the database before publishing the index), but I want to make sure I didn't miss a better way. I suppose I could just ignore the listings page and do a search ... what do you think?

Hi - Yes, using the search to return only your client's listings is a good way to go. You could rig this new results page to replace the default listings page. (Plus, with the latest version of Realty Manager, you can now specify a template to return the results in - so you can make this page look however you want). Other options exist, but this method strikes me as the simplest. Ben interactivetools.com
