I have visited many sites using RM and some load very slowly or the photos are very small in the listings. I think you should consider adding the capability to generate thumbnails using imagemagick. It could be an opinion that the user must setup and configure. I know a few hosting site offer imagemagick. Is there is another way to reduce the size of photos using PHP?
If you look at the large sites you see thumbnails, not resized images, which decreases load time. Many web sites that serve a rural area have very slow download speed and sites are being removed. Our typical download speed is below 26K and I must use a satellite system.
Also there needs to be a way, in the setup panel, so you can restrict the photo size and number that is up loaded by a particular user. If you can modify the program so you can restrict photo size, Please post.

There is a way to restrict the photo sizes in RM Setup options, under General Options, there is a field to enter the maximum photo file size. Number of photos is limited to 10.
You mention the capabilities and features of large sites - more than likely those sites spent thousands, if not tens of thousands, of dollars on programming. Realty Manger is a great buy at $299, has far more features than should be included is a price that low, and they have great tech support. Not a bad deal. :-)
Also, if you have a particular need, they are more than happy to work with you on custom programming - I know, I've used their custom services and they do a fantastic job for a more than reasonable price.
I prefer to see a basic product that is adaptable to most situations for a moderate price, than a product jammed packed with bells and whistles (that I usually don't need) whose price is prohibitive.
