Realty Manager - Edit Listings; Show Different Field/Info

I just upgraded to 2.27 and happened to notice that in the editor listing, lfield1 name and info appear in column one. Something looked very odd about it. Eventually, I remembered that I had modified the former rm.cgi column to display lfield2 name and info instead - as opposed to changing 570 listings once the field order was finally decided upon. I can't seem to accomplish that with 2.27, however. I need to pull up lfield2 to get the reference numbers of the listings in that column instead of the generic info currently residing in lfield1. There are four instances of "lfield1" info in rm.cgi. However, if I change those to "lfield2" (which is what I did with the former version of rm.cgi), I get a program corruption error. I must be forgetting something. Any ideas?

To change the address column in the Listing Editor page, you need to change the file data/interface.dat.cgi instead of exec/rm.cgi. 1. Open the interface.dat.cgi file with your text editor and look for the line contain "--- _listing_list.html ---". 2. Below that, look for the templatecells "header" and "row". 3. Change the lfield1_name in templatecell header to the string "MLS #" 4. Change the lfield1 in templatecell row to lfield2 Remember to make a backup copy of the interface.dat.cgi file before making any changes. Inappropriate changes to this file can make the program stop working. /Dave Lo

Hmmm. Maybe THAT'S what I did last time. Think I'll make a note of it for the next time we upgrade. Txs, dude.
