RM.cgi - login problems Can't Post

Hello,

We have an immediate problem. Our client has been experiencing problems entering/editing info through the RM panel; suspect problem is with client's Win98SE, IE Browser v5, etc.

In short, our client is trying to make weekend updates to the listings via their home office, and would like to make changes ASAP. (problem does not occur on in-office computers)

---------------------------------------------------------
Order of Events:
1) User goes to rm.cgi, then enters username and password.
2) After validation (as superuser), user successfuly enters the "Welcome to Realty Manager" area.

PROBLEM
Whenever 'superuser' clicks on any of the options available (i.e. Listing Editor, Homepage Editor, User Manager, Setup Options), the user is taken back to the rm.cgi login page.
---------------------------------------------------------

I have already checked the IE browser security/cookie/ status and 'temporary internet files' settings for this client's terminal, and all is well. (client is using Win98SE, PII processor)

Please help! Preferably, please call me directly at (201) 294-7000 (New Jersey) at any time or, if you must, please respond to this message. Please include any/all suggestions to make sure we haven't overlooked anything.

We kindly thank you for the help and, as always, thank you for the g-r-e-a-t support!

Truly,

Re: [neilmori] RM.cgi - login problems [In reply to] Can't Post

Neil,

Make sure your client has the time set right on his computer. If the time is way off cookies may be expiring before they are suppose to. Alternatively, you can try increasing the login timeout value under setup options to a really high number (eg: 99999).

Let me know if that helps.
