Hi Mike, unfortunately, we don't have any release date for a new version of Realty Manager, but we're upgrading the software all the time - we released 10 updates for Realty Manager just in 2002 - and we've got a huge list of stuff we'd like to add to the software. If the current version of Realty Manager fulfills your customer's requirements, then I would suggest you buy a license. :-) As many of our customers know, we don't announce release dates at interactivetools.com until after the software has been completed. We find that there are too many issues that arise which can push back the release date. Fraser Cain - Product Manager interactivetools.com, inc. Fraser, Without saying when the next upgrade will occur, can you say what enhancements and new features are likely to be seen in the next few rounds of upgrades? Steve

Sure, I can give you an idea of what's in the queue for Realty Manager/Auto Manager. :-) - Auto Thumbnailing of uploaded images - Auto-republish a user's listings when changes made to user's homepage - Hide listings, both at listing level and user level (hide all user's listings) - Adding htmlArea WYSIWYG editor Fraser Cain - Product Manager interactivetools.com, inc. However, would it be possible to add auto deletion of expired listings to the queue? This is what I had in mind: -- A determined amount of days prior to the listing expiring send the owner of the listing an expiration notice and possibly a way to renew it via a link or form. After the determined amount of days if no renewal is made delete the listing automatically. -- Also, give the admin the possibility to delete multiple listings at a time. Currently it only allows one at a time and each time with a confirmation screen. It becomes very time consuming when you have multiple listings expiring every day. Just my two cents...

Removing expired listings is absolutely on our list. But we've put mySQL as a higher priority. Unless you'd like us to swap that. :-) Fraser Cain - Product Manager interactivetools.com, inc. MYSQL should have the higher priority. With the data in MYSQL format, PHP programmers like myself will be able to munipulate the data any way we see fit.

Exactly. We see the mySQL development going a long way to help more advanced users get more out of our software. Fraser Cain - Product Manager interactivetools.com, inc. Tel: (604)689-3347 - Fax: (604)689-3342 - Toll Free: 1(800)752-0455 Software for your Website - http://www.interactivetools.com/

Hi, Unfortunately I can't provide an estimate on when MySQL support will be released. It was originally planned to be released with version 2.0 of Article Manager, but we have decided to include MySQL support with one of the next 1.x versions because of unexpected delays in releasing version 2.0. I can let you know that the developers are working feverishly to get this feature released, as we understand how high the demand is for MySQL support. Mike Roulston interactivetools.com
