So when is this going to be done... for YEARS now we have been told soon... or as soon as article manager was switched to MySQL listing manager would be right behind.. instead you develope a completely new program (CMS) and fail to update the existing customer base that uses LM. whats the deal? Although I have a half dozen or so clients running LM, I cant stay with it forever if things dont progress... OpenREalty is looking better and better everday. Lets step it up IT.....

mbodamer, Thanks for your post. You're right, we're way behind on a update. We don't like to pre-announce products or features (for reasons you're all too aware of) but we are working on a brand new realty product. It's a new product, completely new codebase, PHP based, uses mysql, and will allow you to do everything that Realty Manager does plus the best features from our other content management tools. There's no product name, release date, or price yet, but I can tell you that it's the very next thing on the release list and it's pretty amazing. That said, make the best choice for your customers now. If Realty Manager makes sense, you know it's solid, and does what you need, use that. If you want to try alternatives - we understand that too. Trust me, we're working on this one as fast as we can. It's very important to us. Dave Edis - Senior Developer interactivetools.com

Dave thanks for the reply.... you guys know I love LM.... I have been using it for nearly 7-8 years I think. I just really hope there is something coming soon :-) not sure if you are allowed to dicuss any features yet.... but is there any point we can give you a wish list for addition to it? and if there is demand for a specific area you could try to add it? off the top for me would be a way to upload virtual tours just like Open Realty. Seems like it is very similar to the image upload feature, simply uploading a cylindrical image instead. It works great with OR. Also it is becoming increasingly more important for an agents site to incorporate MLS listings.... and OR can import listings from an MLS database into it on the fly. AWESOME feature. Anyway... glad to hear things aret dead in the water. and of course if you need a beta tester let me know. I am an active beta tester for Micrsoft, Intuit, Lathem Time, and a few others. THANKS! P.S. better search functionality is key as well. including AND searches would be a huge plus.

Hi, You're talking about realty, but what about Auto Listings? This new version will be specific to Realty, to Realty and Auto or will be a different product for Auto?

Hi CiberSistemas, It will be for Realty and Auto, as well as any other kinds of listings. Right now you can use CMS Builder to do Realty sites (it even comes with some basic pre-configured templates). We haven't added templates for auto sites yet but it's basically just a matter of changing the fields. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.
