Has anyone done this? I would just like to know if I can just copy the dirs, change the permissions, change the setup in the admin program and rebublish, OR do i have to reinstall. vvcto.

I guess I should have added that I want to change the name of the Auto Manager dir in the cgi-bin dir to something else. J.

Hi, I tried changing the name of the Auto Manager directory in the cgi-bin on a test site and I didn't need to re-install the software. After logging in, using the new admin URL, all I needed to change in the Setup Options was the Search Engine URL. If you want to move or rename the publish directory, you can do that in the Setup Options. Make sure there is no existing files in the new publish directory that will get overwritten by Auto Manager. Note: It is always a good idea to make a backup of all your Auto Manager site files and listings before moving or renaming files just in case things don't work out. I hope that helps.
