Managing a listing Can't Post

Hi again. Is there anyway to prevent a listing in RM from being displayed WITHOUT removing it entirely from the database?

Thanks in advance,

Denise Palmer

Re: [dpalmer] Managing a listing [In reply to] Can't Post

I use auto manager and its about the same...try this...
Create a new agent....or realtor whichever,,,,in Auto manager its the name of the dealer.....Anyway create a new one ...then after you have made the listing for the house under whichever user..and published....go back into realty manager and the switch the house listing to the NEW REALTOR you made up.....by doing this you can go into the NEW REALTORS under the user manager and DIASABLE THE ACCOUNT....That way the page is saved but doesnt show up anymore...until you go back in and enable it...
Hope this work for realty manager as it does for auto manager.....!!

***NOTE----
Sorry for posting this I felt sure it would work but when checked this is what happened....>>>
By doing this it took the dealer out of the search boxes for the search engine...but still showed up the AUTOVehicle Listing when searching for ALL listings....Hey I.T. what's up with that????? Disable only means "Partially" disabled????
hmmm.....
Hopefully the MySQL version will present more "Search Control" and won't cost as much as the program did for the update.....

Re: [Joey] Managing a listing [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi guys,

As you found out, your suggestion of disabling a users account doesn't prevent their listings from showing up online. Instead, it prevents them from being able to login to add any more.

As is, there's no built-in way to do this with either Realty Manager or Auto Manager - but it's already on our feature request list. If and when this functionality is introduced we'll be sure to notify everyone through the forum and newsletter!
