Make Printable Pages

I have been doing some research and found this solution that seems to work well for us. We are using Realty Manager and would like ot be able to make "printable brochures" of the listings that are created. Visit this site for instructions: http://javascript.about.com/library/scripts/blprintready.htm Basically you just put some tags in the HTML for a start point and an end point and use a script to capture everything between the and send it to the printable page. We used basically the default templates and just placed the beginning tag jsut before the listing name on the main table and then the ending tag at the bottom of the table and it seems to work fine. Hope it helps some of you looking for this solution. Mike

Hi Mike, Thanks for sharing your solution with us! I'll be sure to take a closer look at this and try it out. Do you by any chance have a link to your Realty Manager where you're making use of this? It would be great to see it in action. Luke interactivetools.com Luke Holzken Product Development

Sorry bout that... we are using it at www.christhompsonrealestate.com and you can see it work if you go to one of the listing details... I am trying to find a logical place for the "print this page" link but now it is in the middle near the bottom. When you click it, it pops open the listing in another window with the stripped down version and immediately opens the print dialog box... you just click ok and it prints!
