Listing Editor Modifications Can't Post

Hi again:

The client would like to change the fields that appear on the Listing Editor. Right now "address" and "listed by" appear.

If it can be done, how do we modify that to display the fields the client prefers?

Thanks in advance,

Denise

Re: [dpalmer] Listing Editor Modifications [In reply to] Can't Post

The "Address" is a fieldname, so you can change that in Setup Options -- Setup Listing Fields.

To change the wording of "Listed By", as well as other "fixed" elements in the program, use your favorite text editor to and open the interface.bin.cgi file in the rm/data/ directory. Search for the first instance of the string "edit listing", then below that you'll see two lines that show

<td><font size=2 face="arial">&nbsp;Listed By </font></td>

Change the string Listed By to what your client prefers.

Remember to make a backup copy of the interface.bin.cgi file before making changes. If there are errors in this file, the program may stop functioning.
