Lead Generation Form

Hi All, I would like to know if anyone can write a lead generation form for our Auto Manager. We have multiple dealers using our one database from AM. When a User is viewing a car and would like to submit a question regarding that car, we want the form to dynamically enter the stock number of the car and that delaers unique email address and send it via formail. I have seen this done on one of the "featured AM Customers" but now their link is dead. Please let me know if anyone is interested. Thanks, Lawrence Expediters Online.com P.S. Forgot to mention...we will pay $ for this.

Hi Lawerence, You can create a lead generation form by adding an email form to the listing detail template. Each published page will then include a email form that visitors can complete and submit for more information. You can use hidden values in the form to add any additional information such as the vehicle name, year and price. To do this you would add the listing field placeholders (for example $lfield3$) you wanted as hidden names into the form in the template (_publish_listing.html). Then when the listing is published, those hidden values will be published. Here is an example of a site that uses an email form on their detailed listing pages: http://www.roundhillpartners.com Although this is a realty site, the idea is the same. I hope that helps. Hey Lawrence, Like Damon said you can create a form with hidden values to submit whatever you want. I have done this on 3 different sites. We have created two that use simple formail and one with a database backend in order for seller to track the messages that were being sent about their vehicles. For formail we use a script that is a little more powerful than formail but is pretty much the same thing. The script we use uses standard .txt files to format your formails to give you a professional look, also allowing you to add things like upsales, marketing ads, and so on. I work for a company that specializes in customizing interactivetools.com's extensive product line so we are very familiar with their product. OK enough of the sales pitch, send me a private message if you would like some more information. We would be happy to work on a marketing campaign that works for you.
