Latest listing first

Hi There, Is there any way to sort a realtors listing by latest listing first, then next etc..? The default seems to be the opposite, they don't want clients having to scroll to the bottom of the list to see the latest additions. We don't want to sort by any particular field on the listings template, just latest listing first. It would be nice if this was the default.

Hi, Currently the listing index will sort on the order the listings were entered. The listings index is output as a static HTML file, meaning you won't be able to change its sort order without moving the records around in the data file. The good news, while it's not possible to have Realty Manager's listings sorted on the date from newest to oldest, what you can do instead is link to the entire Search Results of all of your listings and have those sorted on any other field (e.g. price, address, age of home, etc). Also, you can sort going forward or in reverse, alphabetically or numerically! Let me know if sorting your listings on Price (or any other field) would work for you and I'll write up a tutorial for you on how to set this up. :) Luke Holzken Product Development
