I am doing the following & am not seeing any of the changes I've made when I view the agent's homepage (I am trying to configure for just one agent): 1. Using WinSCP2 to download copies of the original templates on to my local PC 2. Modifying these templates with Dreamweaver MX 3. Renaming the original file on the server 4. Using WinSCP2 to upload the modified file Please help.

I have this problem also...once you download and change the "Template" reupload it to the templates directory...then go into the homepages directory and delete all the current static homepages...(I.E.--h0001.html, h0002.html) once they are deleted and you have uplaoded the new template...GO INTO Auto Manager and and Re-Publish ALL homepages... The same thing goes for listings and their template changes.... not sure why this has to be done but the static html pages that are made are not being overwritten wih the new template changes if you just push "Re-Publish All Pages" perhaps it is a file access problem... Not sure what you mean by renaming the file on the server...you should always leave the "Templates" with the same names that came with it. and let automanager rename the pages that it produces... Hi guys, Calpernica: the description of what you did sounds fine - did you republish at the end? (Setup Options -> click "publish" for whatever template you changed). Also - you might want to check that the permissions on the newly uploaded file have read-access. If still no luck, try a couple of other things: 1. verify you're uploading to the correct /templates directory. 2. after uploading the file, try downloading it again, to make sure that it was uploaded correctly. And post me back! :-) Joey: it does sound rather like a file permissions problem... if the program won't update the files, then chances are the those files don't have write access. I think this is something you'd have to have a word with your hosting provider about. Calpernica, if you haven't already tried this, try it too! Ben interactivetools.com
